As there is no other forum to vent, i will say it here. Qantas, either give the inflight food away or lift the bar . 5+hrs flight and this is the best you can do. The box, is the best part of the meal.

It may be full of bogans as others have said but I am here on a compassionate trip and Qantas - and all the inhabitants of the lounge have treated me with kindness despite random crying fits

The barista is surprisingly good and the high vis guys aren't a bad lot but yes bring in the business class lounge people!

The only QANTAS Lounge in Australia, possibly the world, where you can't pour your own wine due to the Wowsers!

Pretty soon Qantas Club will have People Magazine and Hustler available on the magazine rack to cater to the local punters.

There's a new Qantas Club Lounge downstairs - try it out if the upstairs lounge is full. :)

If you check in more than 6 hrs before your flight the system will reject you & they might tell you it is impossible to override the system. If so just ask for the manager and they can check you in.

Settle back and enjoy one of the many great wines .

New lounge downstairs is better, less high vis. But not only is Internet as crap as ever, Telstra 3G is even compromised!

It's large and well finished yet so over crowded . Very popular.

The Secret Stone pinot on pour here is a lolly-pop rubbish example of this grape variety - try sonething else.

Grab a vodka or gin in a tall glass, the bartenders make lovely drinks!

Go Vegemite !!! Also, there are other things to enjoy at the bar . :)

There is a machine here that makes pancakes !

I enjoy watching the Fat Grumpy Business travellers gorge themselves at the buffet :-) ooh quick there's pies fatty....

Get liquored up before a red-eye flight east. That way you can pass out for the Journey and wake up fresh as a daisy! Or not...

The self serve buffet has your standard items. The lounge is standard and pleasant.

Despite renovations taking place in early 2010, the place is still packed. Don't expect peace and quiet .

Very comfortable now however food at one end.
