Great pub by the river . But all these punting boats are distracting. Also not so good for food. Eat somewhere else and come here for a pint with a view .

Had two nice dinners at the Anchor last week, one as a couple and one with a large group. Everyone loved the food and the service was fine. Location can't be beat if you're staying at the Doubletree.

Ten billion tourists seem to occupy every seat every day. Good riverside setting, but nothing special other than that

Disappointing experience. Half hour to serve just chips . The girl at the bar so slow at service. Add a barman who was super rude regarding transaction issue in their system! Can't recommend...

TERRIBLE service. Got relocated from a supposedly reserved area, but was never attended after that.
