I love the Masonic. Great venue. I HATE that they jack up parking to $35 during events . Plan ahead and park down the street a block.
The concerts . The renovation of the auditorium . The mosaic history of the building is fascinating. It is now associated with Live Nation.
Don't sit at either end of row W in the lower section. The floor of row V doesn't slope down until the 3rd seat in, so the people sitting in row V block the view of row W.
Great venue, especially for more intimate shows. No re-entry so if you're looking to buy merch after a show, go straight to the merch table instead of getting herded out with the rest of the crowd.
The VIP lounge and staff overall are exceptional. Heads up: legally they can't serve a cocktail neat. Ask for another glass. :-)
If you're just there for a comedian show, save yourselves a few bucks and snag an upper balcony seat on either far side. You'll see them just as well as any other seat.
Very intimate place with great views . Staff is rather blah though. They close the bar half way through the last act so get there during intermission.
Park on Level 5 of the parking lot and you'll pop right out on Pine. Beats the heck out of trying to get of the top exit with all the pedestrians walking by.
The only issue (as always) are the super-agro (garage ? parking ?) attendants. I'm disabled, and don't move super fast - maybe don't yell at me to "move it," Slow your roll, bros.
The intimacy of the floor space was super nice. And the building itself is awesome, I felt like I was walking up the red carpet.
Concessions outside the concert spaces - a lifesaver for people like me who foolishly walked up Taylor.
Park on the lower level 5 and you pop right out of the garage after your concert .
Cool venue, although the drinks are kinda pricey . If you love Sierra Nevada they have at least 4 beers to choose from (I think they're a sponsor).
The music was phenomenal, very intimate venue with a great sound system .
Beautiful auditorium . Great venue to rock out, or relax and see a great show.
United Nations and it's birth were ratified here and The Fairmont and likely the mystery house which is as obvious as the church and it's NWO agenda and exploit of Manifest Destiny art . Real. Yes.
For balcony seats , get central ones as the sound isn't as good off to the side.
While the view from almost any seat is great, seats are not so comfy , cf. Davies Symphony Hall etc
Amazing acoustics !!! Nice staff and a great experience! Cozy theater !
Park at the Grace Cathedral across the street, slightly cheaper and you get to be in a gorgeous building. If you've got balcony seats , good luck - the stairs are fierce. Happy Birthday Margaret Cho!
Street parking is near impossible around here. Use public transit if you can help it.
Awesome little small/midsize venue. Not a bad seat in the house!
Great view from every seat
Intimate feel for a larger venue.
There is no bad seat in the venue, so overpay for floor seats with that knowledge .
Pretty much no bad seats in the lower level
Really expensive since the renovation, but a good spot to see a favorite band.
Very nice, intimate venue . Parking available in their lot for a large fee! I parked @ the sutter stockton garage which is a walk but totally reasonable for only $8!
concerts , conventions , all sorts of things to see here.parking is $$$ though!
Event Parking $30 - try and avoid parking all the way at the bottom as you're the last to get out.NOTE: Parking vendors check your tickets again which was the reason it took over 30mins to get out.
This is a poor concert venue , in part because of the physical design, and in (large) part because of the house staff . If possible, see your concert anywhere else.
Definitely another venue to turn to for holding concerts or graduation ceremonies.
Rock out to great bands here.
Great sound and waitresses !
Beautiful auditorium . They close the bar about halfway through the final act though :/
The acoustics are quite bad - the Steven Wilson concert was extremely loud and jarring. It drove me nuts .
Best Temple of Tunes in all of SF.
Feels like an intimate setting . Great view of the band.
Great venue!
Laufey The Goddess Tour
Get here early to get a good seat!
Live music
concession stand food is overpriced - eat before you get in here!
smoking porch outside, just ask an attendant where it is
Right side of entry doors is an elevator . Not a good place to get jammed up.
Parking garage was oversold and the spaces are tiny. Ughhh
Horribly slow security. Get there much earlier than you need to
Il Volo performed here!
This place can get a bit drafty - bring a sweater!
Pop your collar- solidarity.
Great views from various seats. I prefer the side terrace - nice and close to watch the players play! The organ concerts are worth checking out too! - kumi monster
Beautiful and intimate venue. Best for acoustic shows. Not a lot of beer selection, but decent cocktails. - Brodie Olmstead
Lovely theater - great acoustics. But fair warning the house lights go from 0-60 - SO BRIGHT!! ???? - nora walker
Really solid atmosphere, super casual, fun, friendly. Close to a bunch of great places nearby. Highly recommend this spot! - Jeff Rothenberg
So legit. Get the appetizer sample platter and some drinks. Enjoy! - Angie Haering
Beautiful architecture. Busy on the weekends with tourists and weddings. - Joel Rabina Insta: JoelD_Lokahi
