Probably the best place to see a great play, the theatre looks great from outside and inside. Uncomfortable seats for taller persons. Parking in front and underground. Subway Universitate.
Magnificent National Theatre with stunning facade , stunning interior and great performances . We saw The Cherry Orchard by Chekov. Next to InterContinental and University Square . Visited 08/12/17.
The stocky building sitting on one of the corners of University Square is the National Theater . It was built in 1973 after plans by a group of Romanian architects.
After years of construction works we can finnaly enjoy a modern cosy theatre ;

It has nice garden in front, facing the University , with interesting art work.
Best place in the city for performing arts .
The theater is completely renovated in 2015, getting back his initial "old look". Ceausescu didn't liked the facade and it was completely changed. Now the true facade is back.

Cea mai buna optiune in cazul in care vreti la teatru. Renovat de curand, scaunele sunt inca incomode. In total sunt 6 sali. Parcare subterana 6 lei/h, parcare supraterana free.
"2 Loturi" in regia si viziunea lui Alexandru Dabija este de un must-see. Veti fi incantati de accentele tragicomice si de personajele, uneori, aproape supranaturale...
Daca iti place teatrul atunci neaparat trebuie sa mergi la TNB! arata extraordinar de misto ! pentru informatii despre slabit sanatos si curat intra pe www.itstime.ro

Nu rata 'Visul unei nopti de vara', in regia lui Petrica Ionescu.
