Pulpit Rock is a mountain Jørpeland located in Norway.
Preikestolvegen 4105 Jørpeland Norway
One of the best views in the region. Great hike as well . Children and dogs can climb up as well , just to give you a sense of how hard it is. But come prepared with good shoes ans something to eat
Amazing! Preikestolen is a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) The top of the cliff is approximately 25 by 25 metres (82 feet), almost flat, and is a famous tourist attraction in Norway .
Awesome trip! You should go as early as possible (we strated at 7am)! Good shoes , water and some stuff to eat are recommended. It's not the easiest hike but still good to make. About 2 hours to get up
What a lovely hike ! Definitely must-see place, it's better to get there in the morning tho later on there are plenty of tourists . The hike all the way up is about 1,5 hours.
Hike early to avoid the crowds.
Much lighter hike than Trolltunga. Amazing view to the fjord with incredible colors. The look 600 metres down makes you dizzy.
What a hike up here but worth the view from Preikestolen or Pulpit Rock situated 604 metres above Lysefjorden which I visited during the last summer holidays in Norway .
The place you must visit if you go to norway , stavanger especially, hike about 3,8 km (330m height) from parking area; to see spectacular view of nature #LyseFjord not easy but worth #TravelingNorway
Amazing views all the way up!! Some parts are bit challenging since you really need to climb some rocks, but it all pays off in the end!! Highly recommended!
Don’t forget to wear proper hiking shoes to avoid injuries and uncomfortable experience. It is definitely worth it and not hard to go up the hill . ????????♀️????????❤️????????
Beautiful view of the Norwegian landscape throughout the hike . About a 10 mile hike with two steep incline sections. Get ready for a great workout!
The incredible views are worth the 1.5/2 hour hike up. A must do hike if you're in the area – we did it when visiting Stavanger.
Incredible view . Be ready to earn it with a 90 minute hike . Don't forget to take food and a camera , you'll want both.
Incredible views , but oh my God it's full up there.
Went in June. Get to the trailhead by 7am to beat the tour buses and crowds. Well worth the early morning. Bring A LOT of bug spray
Amazing hike ! Not as hard as I expected, and I'm a reasonably unfit person, a lot of flat parts, and some steep parts/climbing up. But the views are worth it.
View is spectacular. The walk too! But go in the evening or early in the morning when its less crowded .
Go at the end of the day and you will have much less people, only the campers than plan to sleep in the area
Is a must. The day trip you must do when in Stavanger. The views are as rewarding as hard is the way to them. (Hard but possible!)
The iconic Pulpit Rock rises 600 metres above the Lysefjord . Take the hike and enjoy the spectacular views !
Go early in the morning or late in the evening, then it's more quiet . TIP: go see the sunrise from up here!
Unless you have a natural instinct to gravitate correctly in the direction the walking track , i would go to reception first in the big brown building to ask for instructions.
Must see place if you are in Norway ! The most beautiful place I have ever seen after Kjeragbolten! :)
Amazing feelings and views ! But you need to walk 2 hours to see this fjord
Amazing view if the weather is nice! Remember to bring water and good shoes !
Don't miss hiking to the Pulpit Rock
Very nice hiking place and wonderful scenery of the fjord
Amazing place! Plan your trip in sunny weather. Look at the photo when it's foggy and snowing.
View , rock climbing , hiking
It was very great and special experience. I can do again although very tiring ;)))))
Outstanding experience. Well worth the walk
The Cliff route is beautiful. Didn't try the Hill route.
Don't get too close to the edge! Haha! And bring two garbage bags to collect the trash that others leave. As we said in the scouts, "Leave the place cleaner than when you arrived."
Use the Boreal/Kolumbus bus for hiking to Pulpit rock-Nice ????
Awesome Fjord - Must see in Norway
Breathtaking views !
Be careful !!! It's harder than it looks.
We hiked for 3 hrs ????????????
Breathe taking view !.
Super walk! Great view !!
The view is worth every step
AMAZING! Worth the trek!
view to 604 meters vertically down into the fjord
Astonishing views
Best place ever.
Take the hill trail on the way down. More amazing sights.
Waw, just WAW
