Really enjoyed this place! Some amazing history and artefacts . Museum is really dated, but shows the old communistic style (or lack of) really well :)

The exhibition of Ancient Cultures is interesting (explanations in English and Bulgarian ).The rest of the exhibits lack a sense of presentation. The bldg and grounds are also a point of interest.

Most of it is in English and Bulgarian , but not all. The museum focuses mainly on very early periods of time and very little recent history.

Socialist building, 4000 b.c. artefacts , Thracean, Roman , Bulgarian, Bulgarian awakening and ethnographic artefacts in one place. Don't expect much enthusiasm from the staff .

We saw some real nice objects, but the museum could need a facelift and better presentation.

Beautiful rooms and architecture . Poor in exhibitions .

I was impressed with the Roman and ancient Greek items

Unless you have nothing better to do, nothing here is really that interesting... If you are a fan of bulgarian history then maybe

Tienen guías en español, pero hay que llegar a penas abren. Vale la pena para conocer toda la historia y cultura.

Един от най-интересните музеи в страната. Жал ме е, че експонатите са до края на ВСВ. Музей на социалистическото изкуство го възприемам като продьлжение на експозицията
