Located in the Old City, is an ancient tower. Built in the 12th century as part of the walled city of Baku with the Shirvanshahs' Palace dated to the 15th century, are an ensemble of historic monuments which have been inscribed under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments in 2001.

The stairs are bit all equal height or width. This was intentional to prevent attacking armies from being able to quickly climb to the top.
If you are interested in both architecture and history you need to spend 2 hours here, it has Lot's of smart TV which show you all history and architecture and it has Lot's of stairs

Nothing inside just a stairs historical tower even the roof is closed! And the ticket is expensive to this tower.
The tea rooms with same name are run the criminals- they include service charge and the when you pay by card they add another amount on card reader and not show it before you add the pin on a card.
Not an every single person is able to overcome the narrow hallways and stairs to get to the top of the Tower. Are you among them?

I wasn't that much impressed with the view , especially, comparing it with the Galata tower in Istanbul.
There are plenty of fairy tales about this ancient building, one of the popular ones is about a wealthy ruler falling in love with his own daughter.

Absolutely ridiculous service when waiter types on card macnine a different number (tips on top of Service) and not showing it to you so you only add the pin and it’s too late to argue. Disgusting !!!

снаружи башня как башня, а вход – 10 или 15 манат , что в обоих случаях дорого! конечно, не стали подниматься. для местных реальная стоимость этого развлечения – 2 маната )))
Очень круто находится здесь. Места просто заслуживают. Вход в девичья башня 12 манат взрослый для местных 2 маната .(обидно) и дорого. Поесть места есть , можно закупить много сувениров торгуйтесь ????

Kız kulesi bizimkisi kadar güzel değil. Geceleri sim siyah hiç bir aydınlatma yapılmamış. Her yer ışıl ışılken buraya yapmamalı enteresan olmuş (Mart 2024)
