This is a casual sushi place with seriously happy vibes, friendly staff , and fresh fish . They use black rice in their rolls and it's surprisingly delicious. The simple rolls and sashimi were best.

The nigiri is a great option for GF/ nightshade free, but you still need to ask about red pepper . GF soy sauce available for a surcharge. GF rolls are not marked, so you have to know your ingredients.
Excellent raw fish at good price. The rolls were a little heavy with tempura items. Good service and met the owners. Will go back
The fresh salmon , nigiri or sashimi , is out of this works great! And the purple rice adds some nice flavor and flair.

The Oh My God roll is a must try. The Arizona roll is also unique and amazing.

Just moved to Phoenix from NYC. Sushi was ok. Was disappointed, since it was highly ranked. My standard is high though and I prefer traditional sushi-very simplistic.

Comerica is big, has a great soundsystem and the view is great from anywhere. Recently saw Aziz Ansari there and had a blast. Full bar and great staff are very helpful. Lots of parking around area. - eric
