I have been swimming here for nearly 3 months. As a blind person I find staff friendly and helpful. A shame that only food is chocolate and crisps vending machine. Expensive and hardly healthy.
I think Qmotion has better basketball court than here. But mile end park 's outdoor basketball court is free. If u play basketball there just watch out for those kids who play football on the court!
Bring 20p if you would like to leave your stuff in a locker.
I play netball here and the courts are well lit. Nice to walk there via the canal in summer
Good fitness center , but try not to go on peak times coz it turns out to be packed. There are certain equipment that I miss such a pull-up bar .
Athletics track access for under £4, astonishing value.
Fitness classes are excellent, especially Yolanta's BoxFit class on Friday evenings
For swimming best time in morning 7:30 - 8:30. Between early morning & kiddes.
Bit of a joke that you have to pay to use the track . Having said that, do the obvious thing and hop over the fence! ????????????????????????
Parkrun - outside the stadium 9am every Saturday. Free timed 5k.
Try the kick aerobics class on a Monday, good workout and very varied!
Good gym and I love the swimming pool
Swimming pool is 23 metres long, just the right size!
Would be nice if they had a healthy cafe as not near any decent food outlets.
Pretty dire free weights area.
7 a side footy nights
Great climbing wall. Good vibe and routes change regularly. Best for bouldering. - Dave Moffat
A proper old school east end pub complete with a till that could be in a museum. The guy behind the bar is lovely and the atmosphere is cosy and friendly. Bring cash! - Natalie Clarke
On a good day, if you stand in a particular spot, you can get nice views of the shard, the city and Canary Wharf. - Jon Baldwin
good gym! rather small so it easily gets crowded! - Totti Solari
5 5-a-side pitches that can be booked out at lunchtime. They also have a league. - Amy Robinson
Nice place ... - Ibrahim Uner
Nice park in the middle of mile end. Make sure to have a walk over the green bridge. - Jah Rahman
Great beer selection, board games and Thai food. We found everything we needed for a Sunday afternoon. - Nora B
