Still under construction inside, but it does not stop people to come in and pray. Located at the opposite side of the old town , but it is ok to walk, around 2km. A must see attraction in the city .

the largest orthodox cathedral on the balkans , and one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world! unfortunately, mostly completed but the internal decorations still unfinished.

The place might be nice, but all access were close except for one which had a queue of several hundred metres because of the Russian choir concert . Avoid it if there's any free event .

Monumental indeed. But in what is really a relatively poor country , do you really need to build such a colossal church ?

Henüz iç kısımda çok işi olsa da, dış kısmı ile Belgrad’ın 1 numaralı simgesi kesinlikle burası

Sava, 1000'li yıllarda yaşamış bir kral evladı Sırp. Azizlik mertebesine yükseltilmiş. Ve iddiaya bakılırsa, Osmanlı Paşası Sinan Paşa tarafından cenazesi 1595'te bu katedralin olduğu yere gömülmüş.

Dışardan güzel bir mimari lakin içinde büyük bir inşaat tadilat çalışması var

Belgrad'da görülmesi gereken yerler arasında sava kilisesi . Henüz restorasyon çalışmaları bitmemiş ama bu haliyle bile çok gösterişli.

Bâtiment impressionnant mais en travaux... ceci ne retire en rien l ’émotion perceptible de tous les croyants de passage.

Mutlaka gidip görmeniz gereken bir yer...

Ha, gelelim en önemli konuya. Siz, kiliseyi TARİHİ zannedebilirsiniz; ama yanılırsınız. Post komünist dönemde, yani son 20 yılda yapılmıştır. Bitiş tarihi - hala bitmemiş ama - 1989 verilir.

Katedralin ana bölümünü göremedik. Sanırım tadilat vardı ama gördüğümüz salonun tavan ve duvar freskleri bile tek başına çok etkileyiciydi.

Biz geldiğimizde tadilattaydı bu nedenle küçük bir kısım gördük ama etkileyici????????

Restorasyon çalışması devam ediyor. Kesinlikle içi görülmesi gereken bir katedral .

Mimarisi aynı bir camiye benziyor, özellikle bahçesindeki yapıtlar İstanbul'u anımsatıyor..
