I'm a fan of diners and this one is my favorite. So much so that my second favorite is kind of distant second.
The diner opened in 1946 and still supplements the familiar fare with a local delicacy known as a steamed cheeseburger . Another possibility: the Greens Supreme soup . Read more
Was blown away by the food here; got the special one Saturday morning which featured what felt like a trip through Ireland. Had to wait in line outside due to space limitations inside!
Tremendous breakfast selection for a diner . Try the Bob Wolf omelette named after a regular patron. It's a Mexican spiced omelette . Usually crowded .
Everything about this diner is *AWESOME*! I especially love the little sweetbread morsels you get before you order.
Banana Bread french toast...a real treat, but very rich. I brought half home & had it for supper. Yum...
Feel like you've just spent a shit ton of money on a college education and don't know what to do with your life? First things first: get the graduate omelette . Hey, it's a start….
Outstanding service . Great off beat menu. Went out of their way to greet out of towners.
It's already been said, but this is the best breakfast ever! You must get the jalapeno bacon !!
Great breakfast . Sweet or savory
Allergy friendly ! The specials are amazing as are the steamed cheeseburgers ! Their coffee isn't swill either! That's rare for a diner !
If Brian or Vinny are in the kitchen get their special breakfast
Best breakfast in New England. Multiple award winner. Not to be missed!
Come hungry if you want to tackle the sandwich
Great place to have bfast and lunch !! Try the surprise dish ;)
I haven't met an omelette I didn't like here. And make sure to talk some baseball with Brian .

Just get the chefs special
Vinnie 's special surprise breakfast would be the right thing for my BF! Gotta bring him here soon!
Can’t comment on the food because they closed the door in our faces an hour and a half before their listed “closing” time. Made a special detour to try this place and it was extremely disappointing.
Avoid the brunch rush and come for a weekday lunch .
Only one bathroom in the back. Watch out for the faucet because it shoots out like a firehose.
So far everything is so good...
Definitely worth the drive! Try the special hash !
Steamed cheese burger and Cole slaw
Really good breakfast
The most amazing breakfast ever!!! Try the lamb sausage and jalapeño bacon
Coffee , black.
Delicious!
Best mulled cider ... Ever.
Brian 's Breakfast !
A delicious breakfast that never fails!!
Jalapeno bacon . Nuff said.

Overrated, honestly. The servers are rude and the fact that they close at 2pm is absurd
Best breakfast ever...
Don't get the food.
Best breakfast in CT!
Brian Breakfast if you can't decide
Amazing breakfast ! Read more
Hate to say it but, nothing like Puerto Vallarta
Didn't live up to the hype. Mediocre at best.
Pretty good food. I had pancakes and tried a spinach and cheese omlet which was good! - Dallas Cyr
This diner has been around for as long as I can remember. Take a look at the pictures of patrons on the wall. Kay, the proprietor, remembers EVERYONE (even me!) and often has stories to tell, too! :) - X
The food is subpar and the service is inattentive and incredibly slow. My three over-easy eggs with potatoes and toast came to my table a literal forty minutes after I ordered. - Brian Lee
Try the lavender earl gray cupcake! The icing is slightly sweet but if eaten with the cake it's still really yummy. - Tiffany
Have been here many times before. Great place for the kids to explore and have fun. A ton of hands on exhibits for the kids to check out. - Dana G.
Try the glazed apple cider donuts, different and delicious. Their pumpkin butter rocks too ???????? - Lynn Wright
