Best transportation from Marco Polo airport to Venice and it takes 45 mins. It costs 15 euros but it is so bad in winter
DO NOT get a return ticket from the airport ! While worth the experience on the way to Venice, you don't want to miss your flight because of two full boats. Save yourself the angst and take the bus .
Do NOT buy a "guided" tour to Murano/Burano you will learn nothing from them and pay 20€ for transportation and visit of fake "glass factory", which is basically a shop with stimulated sale strategy!

Vaporettos function in time but the boats are extremely noisy old wrecks. Dezibels go over 94 in some of the worst ones! - Timo S
