It is right next to UNC. My favorite, to be hanging in a college town ; yet relaxing. Everything is so clean , everyone so nice. Definitely updated since Owen and I were here 10 years ago.
The Inn is THE spot to stay during your visit to UNC. This old-time Southern building is excellent for being in the thick of everything going on in Chapel Hill. Not to mention the service is great!
Great location and great service. Take a look at the amazing alumni profile that decorate the halls. Did you know the Carolina Inn was founded by the inventor or Pepsi-Cola?
Beautiful old-style hotel with nice restaurant and bar and fun events . We love the annual 12 Days of Christmas displays by local artists !
I’ve stopped by but haven’t stayed in here but it is just so beautiful. I’ll have to stay here on my wedding night!
Cute , romantic hotel , especially during the holiday season. The Holiday Hi Tea service was pretty good. They accommodated my Vegan request 🌟
Lovely spaces, great service, good food and drinks, and perfect location if visiting university . Delightful in all aspects.

Old school cool. The lunch menu is a little pricy but very good and worthy of the atmosphere.
Gorgeous building. Excellent meal. Fun bar . All around good time.
Great hotel but under repair right now so the noise starts early and often. Have a drink at crossroads and sit on the porch ! Dinner at top of the hill ....
Excellent place to eat and lodge !
Tea in the lobby! Great scones , sandwiches and every tea you can think of - great for small groups of women + children.
Limited, but upscale menu. Not the place to go for alternative diets such as vegan / vegetarian .
A lovely spot, conveniently located.
Wonderful Celebrating again in Chapel Hill, NC! Christmas 2018!
Excellent breakfast . Quite possibly the best sausage gravy I've ever eaten.
The room was dirty , like someone had used it before us. After we had to switch rooms because they ‘upgraded’ us from one bed to two. Alarm clock went off at 4am, HVAC is loud AF, bed uncomfortable.

Free (and delicious) chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. Yum.
