Visited Outerlands for a late brunch and it lived up to the hype. If you're waiting, grab a coffee at Trouble and think about how you're going to break your eggs in jail out!

Luke Bornheimer

Located in the sleepy neighborhood of the Outer Sunset , Outerlands serves up creative brunch dishes all week long—the dutch pancakes and eggs in jail are popular—grab coffee at Trouble while you wait.

The huevos rancheros had a delicious and unique bean sauce. The bacon egg cheese was too heavy (bacon too thick for my taste) but overall delicious! Also got the toast w apple and butter which was👌🏻

House Cocktails are amazing. The bread is amazing. Fantastic place for a drinks night or a romantic dinner . I loved the ambience and interior. I tried Il blonde and Old Monk and both were fantastic!

Wilson Favre-Delerue

Food that is as unusual as it is tasty, blending modern American fare with Middle Eastern influences. Laid back interior design with a modern beach feel.

Pavan Kulkarni

One of the top brunch places in SF. Biscuits and gravy and veggie sandwich were really good. The cocktails were decent too. The ambiance and service is pretty laid back like outer sunset :P

Eggs in jail and pork hash with eggs are so so good; fresh ingredients ,super flavors and delicious.Dutch pancake with pork sausage is good, I would not order it a second time though.I love this place!

The sticky bun is a gooey combo of banana , walnuts and (optionally) bacon . But really who would get it without the bacon ?

Ricky Sherrill

The causal "lived in" vibe makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. Top notch bread & pastries , a breakfast menu that has a nice blend of sweet & savory is a nice way to start the day.

Jeffrey made some wicked cocktails for us. They were perfect! The staff know their drinks and foods. Even if you don't want to seat for a full dinner , grab a bar spot and order some cocktails

Adrian Phillips

Hour wait on the weekend but it's worth it. Their Bloody Mary is exceptional, felafel & eggs was good and the salted caramel for dessert was a small, but powerful treat for the end of your meal.

Yev Pusin

The quail was amazing and the lobster fettuccini was great. Highly recommend the sardines as well . All the food was deliciously prepared and well presented. Coffee and panna cotta were a great end!

Bike out here on Sundays for brunch . Put your name down and go to Trouble Coffee & get toast while you wait—it's going to be an hour. Let someone else order the Dutch pancake ; get the eggs yourself.

Really warm space, perfect spot for dinner so far out in the Sunset . Menu is seasonal - so while you can, get the persimmon salad ! The bread is a staple fortunately, also not to be missed.

The bread , made in the Tartine style, is worth the trip alone, but don't overlook chef Brett Cooper's phenomenal soups or his inspired use of farm fresh produce . [Eater 38 Member]

At lunch there is a little menu of simple good things: a sandwich of ripe tomatoes and roasted eggplant ; bourbon-laced apple cider to guard against the sea-breeze chill .

Go next door to trouble for coffee and toast to make the long wait bearable. Savory dutch pancake with smoked bacon is special.

The dutch pancakes (savory) were really good, but honestly way too rich for my taste. I dare to think how sweet the "sweet" version is. I loved the Ginger lemon tea cider w/ bourbon .

The bread here is a joy - beautifully simple with a crust has a nice crunch and the inside has the perfect rich, tangy flavor. And the duck ? Eye rollingly good.
