Great palace with several museums and a garden.Entrance to garden is separate.All kinds of artwork from renaissance to modern art through late 19th century. Caravaggio, Rubens and Rafael among others.

If U R going 2 visit a lot of museums , churches , etc. then get the Firenze card. We'll worth the money 72euros, but it gets U in @ 30 different places & U can ride the main city bus for free.

Make sure to see the Medici Treasures exhibit on the left hand side of the entrance (main floor). The collection is exquisite and downright eclectic .

amazing. the palantino gallery and the royal apartments are breathtakingly beautiful. some gems by Titian and Rubens . and definitely visit the gardens , the view is my favourite

Huge palace , so better not attempt to do everything at once. Tickets are divided in sections, & covering their whole ground gets expensive . Fantastic rooms in the classic collection, opulence.

Wonderful art in a historic palace on magnificent grounds in the center of Florence...definitely worth the visit! Get the Uffizi Card if visiting several museums during your stay. Piti is on the list!

If you have a whole day to kill, and you love art , come to this place . It will take you not less than 3 hours just to finish it all ! A must for any art lover

If you intend to see modern art you intuitively head to galleria arte moderna at Palazzo Pitti. But actually P. Pitti is way more important to see and offers better art although of course not modern.

Annoying staff at the entrance. 1st they make you check in your backpack. You can argue this. Once your backpack's in, they'll try to get you to carry it in front of you. Go with a side bag instead.

This palace is big. Take sometime to stroll through the garden maze

The art gallery has many, too many, interesting masterworks but these are not presented in the best possible way.

Great value for money as the ticket includes a number of places (even better if you go before 9am and receive half price tickets)

The garden is the best. Make sure to buy the tickets for it.

Have been disappointed by costume gallery beside that it's great place to visit.

The core of the present palazzo dates from 1458 and was originally the town residence of Luca Pitti an ambitious banker. It was bought by the Medici family in 1549 and became the chief residence.

Great sight - the coffee shops restaurants opposite is the greatest choice for a wine or beer !

Breathtaking rooms and has some masterpieces of rafaello and Caravaggio.

The Vasari Corridor begins from Palazzo Vecchio, joins Uffizi Gallery , passes above Ponte Vecchio over River Arno to finally join Palazzo Pitti.

Don't miss the Medici collection on the left of the courtyard . It was our favourite part

Loved the renaissance pieces but it was a bit stuffy inside

Been here 2 hours so far and have yet to interact with an attendant who wasn't preoccupied with a cell phone, plain rude, or aloof. Great art collection though.

Gardens are exhausting but the collection is awesome. if you dont want to wait a long line this is your museum .

For stroller babies, the gravel garden is a bit hard to manoeuvre but if there is a will, you will find a way. The palace is no problem for stroller though and with lift access!

Liked better than the Uffizi , also less crowded .

Tough choice as to which ticket to go with, we went with the museum one, but wished we'd gone for the gardens .

For families it is more difficult to visit but the number of paints and sculptures are really impressive.

The palace doesn’t good in my opinion. First off all that price is more expensive than gardens’. I think you can have a photo in front of the building, it can be enough

So much to see here... just beware of neck ache from spending so long admiring the ceilings!

This huge palace (once home to the Medici) now contains numerous museums including the Palatine (paintings ), costume , silver… and the Boboli Gardens of course.

It has a great garden in the inside. Excellent stone work

The sign at the front of the Boboli Gardens said the Porcelain Museum was closed for a strike, but that just meant they left all the doors open and didn't staff it.

The original home of the slaves found in the Accademia, and a fair amount of other Michelangelo-connected works.
