Modern, spacious rooms and the view from the “Castle View ” rooms is exactly as described! Friendly staff and the traditional cookie on arrival adds to the ambience of a welcoming hotel .
Warm walnut cookies on arrival , endless black pudding in the breakfast buffet , and views of the castle from many of the rooms. What more could one want?!
Fantastic staff and Incredibly beautiful rooms in a great location, sadly spoiled by sub-par food, and a mediocre breakfast .
Try to get a room with a castle view - always stunning to wake up/fall asleep to.
I really enjoyed this hotel ! Lovely staff , clean rooms , nice breakfast and the most delicious checkin - cookie ever!

A great Scottish pub. Dog & family friendly in a great part of town. Good food & a nice atmosphere - get a booth & enjoy interesting craft beer & sharing platters! Two sunny outside terraces also. - Dean McVey
We loved our rooms. The hotel was a little far from the majority of the things to do. But in a way that was nice because it was Quite at night. - Samantha Smiley
Great views of surrounding areas and lots of historical things inside castle. A real treat! - Paul Cooper
