This is a good and quick escape from the busy medina. I liked the contrast of plants against the blue building. On the small side and entrance + museum fees were a bit steep. The cafe 's the best part.
Whatever you do don't miss coming here, really nice place. Might be the best tourist thing to do in Marrakech. End it by sitting at the cafe for drinks.
One of the most beautiful gardens / parks I've ever been to. Designed by YSL, it's a desert garden oasis. Come in the late afternoon for the perfect lighting.
Awesome place to visit in Marrakech. Cozy and quiet garden full of cactus . Walk around, listen the sound of the water and feel the pace. It is worth it.
It's such a natural beauty with a great story behind it. You'll find Yves Saint Laurent's memorial in there with a museum . A must see when you're at Marrakech. There's also a cute cafe to chill .
Absolutely beautiful. So unique. Get the "billet combiné" which grants access to the Majorelle, YSL museum , Berber museum , and special exhibits . People taking pictures can get quite annoying.
It is a very nice garden . We had to wait for the tickets for 45 minutes but in the end it's worth it. The cafe inside is also very nice.
A gorgeous oasis from the busy city , colours are fantastic on a sunny day, and the Berber museum and cafe on site are worth a visit too
Very beautiful, amazing place to hide from the heat of the city . Quite crowded ... Be sure to come before 11:00 am to skip long queue. Entrance costs 70dh (about 7EUR). Pram friendly (only few steps).
Magical place! The colours, flowers are great! But there is a long queue around midday, if you go after 2pm, there will be less crowd and better light inside.
A bunch of non-typical cactus and a building with nice colours. Good for tourists to take pictures but not great if you’re looking for a local and genuine experience.
The Majorelle Garden is a two and half acre botanical garden and artist 's landscape garden in Marrakech, although it is nice the entrance price is a bit pricey !
Amazing garden , overhyped though. Too crowded , you can't just sit, relax & take it all in.
Lovely place far from the craziness from the Medina. It's like a peaceful oasis. The majorelle blue is such a great contrast with the colors around, making it for some great pictures.
A verdant oasis on the outskirts of Marrakech. Surrounded by high earthen walls, the botanical garden is home to exotic flora, soothing water features and the brilliant Berber Museum . Read more
It's not exaggerating at all if visiting here is the only reason for Marrakesh. You've got nature and healing. Meeting kitties and YSL are additional. ❤️
The Berber museum there is small but exquisite with an excellent collection of traditional clothes , jewelry , and more. There is Berber music and the jewelry room is fascinating with mirrored walls.
Beautiful garden . Berber museum doesn't have much. Definitely go to the YSL museum next door. Get there early to avoid a queue
Loved the beauty this garden has. Everything is super pretty but unfortunately there are more tripods, selfiesticks and people who take photos of themselves that quite ruined this gorgeous oase.
Tip for Instagram : With the blue wall as a background, take the best pictures as the color and the light there is perfect
The 12-acre botanical gardens owned by Yves Saint Laurent have colorful local flora, along with a small café , bookshop , and the Musée Berbère, with Berber art from the designer’s collection.
Gorgeous garden with a special museum dedicated to Marocco's original inhabitants.
It’s beautiful and peaceful . You have a museum and those of Yves Saint Laurent very close. Don’t hesitate to visit!
Undoubtably the most peaceful place in Marrakech,a must visit ! you will certainly get over the heat of the city once inside
the Botanical Gardens of Majorel is one of the best sightseeing to visit when staying in Marrakesh, www.rovemoroccotravels.com
50 DH admission, go early morning or late afternoon. It is small so it can get crowded easily. The majorelle blue colour is stunning! 25 DH extra for Berber museum .
The gardens of cacti and other assorted plants, the museum , library and cafe are all excellent. Well worth it
Mecca for fashionistas. Hardly possible to take a picture without people. But very beautiful! Checkout the bookstore !
Fee 70, berber museum 40. Small garden with nothing special, interesting for those not being in good gardens as in Singapore. In Berber museum things u can see living in Riad or walking “souk“.
Pretty but pricy at 150DH. Arrive early - opens at 8am to avoid the hordes of ‘grammers & tour busses. shame to see many succulants “graffitied ” with scratches. Berber museum costs extra, opens at 10.
Garden created on beginning of XX century by painter Jacques Majorelle and later taken to be replanted by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent who's memorial stone can be found inside the garden
Pretty garden , bring your camera so you can take lots of pretty pics! Entrance fee is 70 and 30for the museum .
Magical garden , u should go early to avoid the line ip
A lush tranquil oasis away from the heat & madness of Marrakesh. Go at the end of the day to avoid crowds.
Beautiful garden - palms, cactuses and a great house of its founder - a must see in Marrakesh!
A must see. A beautiful botanical garden . Very peaceful in an otherwise noisy city !
Lovely gardens . Worth the 30 dh taxi ride from the Medina. Good way to spend a quiet afternoon away from the souks.
Wonderful garden of Jacques Majorelle , brought back to its glory with so much love by Yves Saint-Laurent & Pierre Bergé. A must in Marrakech.
A classical African garden with palms, cactus and huge reeds and the gorgeous blue villa . What's not to like.
The most unique garden you will ever visit???????? it has plants from 5 continents????????????????????
Massively overrated. Very interesting plants and planting, but so many people in a relatively small space.
GORGEOUS botanical garden with beautiful architecture . However, can potentially get really touristy . I would suggest to go early to avoid all the people.
AMAZING!! Totally worth checking out. Great small museum also.
This garden is a must see if you enjoy colourful buildings and plants. The blue colour even has its own name – Majorelle Blue.
Families with kids under 12, disabled, pregnant: go to the left queue! If you’re none of these, don’t use the left queue, you’ll be shown away to the right queue.
Take the Time to sit down and absorb all the beautifulness of nature... Despite the numerous tourists ...
Nice if you want to get away from the craziness of the Medina. Take a few pix, stay 30mins and head out. Not mind blowing but nice
Buy timed tickets online in advance so you don’t have to wait (there’s no ticket window anyway) and make sure you arrive close to your time.
Stunning garden with an incredible attention to every single detail. Absolutely to be seen
The gardens are very beautiful, but much smaller than I was expecting and packed full of tourists . Also the Berber museum was closed.
Definitely worth paying the extra for at the gate of the jardin majorelle. Well kept and very informative exhibit. English handouts provided - Starskreem T
Excellent exhibition and Gardens. Highly recommend you visit the gardens and the exhibit! Go early as it gets busy - Jason Quarisa
We enjoyed our lunch here. Nice egg tajine and good Majorelle ice cream for dessert. Free wifi - Yana Yakimova
Quite big garden with lots of different trees. One of the major parks in the city. A great spot for a break during sightseeing and a best escape from the hot sun. Very quite and peaceful indeed. - Murat
A must and one of the few free parks you can go to in Marrakech. Taxis to go there from the city centre will cost you between 30-50DH, depending on how good you are at negotiating. - David Bento
A large area, a lot of people of different nationalities. It seems that there is never fades life-day or night! open-air restaurants, barbecue, musical performances, magicians, fortune-tellers and so on - Gorchitza4
Opulent, over the top, and amazing, this is an incredible palace to visit, ready to move in - Sanssouci Collection
