Henricus was the second successful English city in the New World. Built along the James River , it is on the land where Pocahontas grew up. When you visit, walk down the river , the view is incredible.

Very cool place. People in period dress are great with engaging kids & asking then to join in with hands on exploration.. Be prepared to listen to long lessons, but it is very worth your while.

Jaime Smith ????

They have a sweet 4.5 mile trail that is a great place to run, jog, or walk your pups. Just be sure to clean up after the puppies! ;)
