A very cool place to visit, especially when the medieval festival is taking place with people walking in costumes , selling medieval food, drinks and items as well as doing fight and song events .

This is the main event . If you are coming to Obidos, you have to check the castle by walking on the walls . Of course it is at your risk.

The town inside the walls is more interesting than the castle . The castle is pretty primative compared most French and Spanish castles .

it's worth going up on the top of the wall - but wear sensible shoes , because the way up=rocks, some of which are slippery!

There was a lot of tourists here at the medieval festival . Be aware that the ATMs can go empty. We where only able to take out money on the third one.

you should choose the time at Christmas when the castle is lighted amazingly or in november when they arrange the chocolate carnival

It is indeed a big tourist trap but at the same time it has its charm.

TOURIST TRAP ! Nice place to visit, but very touristic . Take one road lower or higher than all the other people and you might be fine. Still nice place to visit.

Do not visit it. This place looks ugly. They are constructing sort of Disneyland exposal. Fake stuff, nothing authentical will remain after being finished.

Andar pelas vielas do Castelo e sentir o clima medieval . Passeio muito agradável. Experimente a ginginha com copo de chocolate , muito bom. Vale a visita.

Senti-me em um episódio de Game of Thrones. Um dos lugares que mais gostei em Portugal, pois amo a temática medieval . Visita obrigatória.

Adamlar hep deniz seferi yapmışlar. Taa o zamanlarda okyanus ötesi yeni yerler keşfetmişler. Saygı duymak lazım. Fakat çok tarihi eserleri yok. Aynı biz 😠

Uma viagem no tempo. Castelo e ruas estreitas.. culinária típica de séculos atrás.. tudo feito artesanalmente no forno a lenha.

Pueblo precioso. no dudes en visitarlo. Quizas halla demasiada gente, asi que el consejo es madrugar.Increible pederse por sus callejuelas.

São mais as vozes do que as nozes . Já vim a Óbidos várias vezes e é sempre um comércio exagerado. Óbidos parece uma imensa loja e esta gente acho que vendia a própria família se pudesse.

Óbidos é daqueles locais excelentes para passear com gente muito acolhedora e simpática.
