1877 年に建てられた、第 2 代北海道庁長官である永山武四郎の私邸。後に三菱が買収し、三菱鉱業寮を併設して三菱の倶楽部として使われた。お洒落でおいしいレトロ モダン なカフェ も併設されており、札幌歴史建築 ビギナーにもお薦めしたいスポット。入場料取ってもいいレベルなのに入場無料。

開拓使の貴賓接待所として 1880 年に建てられた木造 2 階建、和洋折衷の建物。玄関上部や出窓上に掲げられた 2 つの五稜星が北海道感。1881 年の明治天皇巡幸では札幌における休憩所として使われるも、巡幸後はあまり使い道がなかったのか 1886 年に民間に払い下げられ、料亭や貸家として使われたという過去も。 - Rue. SATOH
