Brasserie style with a huge bar , decent happy hour wine , good crab cakes and chicken dumplings . Live band playing rock from the 60s - 90s. Lively . People there are enjoying themselves. No pretension.

Genera makes the best watermelon martinis I've had in awhile. Highly recommend it because it's pretty hard to mix watermelon with alcohol & make it strong but still taste good

Walked in for the first time and saw a face I hadn't seen in roughly 3-4 years from Sunnyside! Andy is the man, always happy, smiling and genuinely nice! Knowing he is here will make me return!

There was a wait to be seated -- but well worth it, esp egg topped bacon cheeseburger was phenomenal and fries were salted perfectly!!! Vodka/shandy cocktail was surprisingly great

The eggplant and porcini "meatballs " were divine! Completely vegetarian and couldn't even tell! The sauces are amazing, make sure to dip some rustic bread in them!!

Come in for brunch . The french toast blueberry compote and mascarpone is melt -in-your-mouth good.

When other restaurants nearby were closing early, this place is open late on Sunday night. There was a (loud !) live cover band. Not many good low carb options , but food was good.

Drinks are not amazing, but the vibe is unpretentious and energetic. Nice place to unwind after a long week.
