With 1.9km of its original city wall still standing, Tallinn boasts one of Europe’s best preserved Medieval fortifications together with 20 defensive towers. In fact, a large part of what gives Old Town its fairytale charm is the system of walls and towers that surrounds it.

When I visited the city wall, I did feel like a Guard . I walked around and enjoyed the view . It is amazing. It's an incredible place which gives you a good feeling! (Be careful if you visit in Winter)
Tallinn's historic walls very well preserved, close to Casa Kalamaja Appartment. You can imagine the historical events that have lived this city with its historic walls. Murallas antiguas de Tallin.
A must visit. Great views across the city 's rooftops .
One of the entrances to the old town . Two monumental towers guarding the entrance.
Not bad, but nothing too exciting either. Most of the view is blocked by thr tall buildings
The greatest example of old times' architecture in Europe

The climb of 258 steps to the tower is well worth the stunning views across the Old Town towards Toompea and across the Harbour. Free wifi can be picked up at the top for that important selfie share. - Chris Marsh
