Louis Armstrong Park is a park Treme - Lafitte New Orleans located in United States.
North Rampart Street New Orleans , LA 70116 United States
A beautiful park , next to the Quarter, with canals and rolling grassy hills . Be sure to catch Jazz in the Park every Thursday (when in season) from 5-8pm. And don't forget to bring food for the ducks.
So much history here. The symbolism of Congo Square inside a park named after on of most famous jazz musicians and how it's importance plays into the story of jazz is to be appreciated
It's beautiful there. Great places to take pictures or just enjoy the view .
Large park on the edge of the French Quarter . Popular venue for many festivals , starting place for races, and home to Congo Square where slaves would gather to play music and sell goods on Sundays.
Louis Armstrong Park is just the place to & have an awesome family picnic ! Plenty of sculptures to enjoy right on the waters edge. Located outside the french quarter to take a bike/hike over to it!
Came across this park on accident while walking to St. Louis Cemetery . The park is beautiful & very well maintained. A quiet escape from the craziness of the French Quarter !
Great park with plenty of history and plenty to admire!
The park honors the remarkable Jazz trumpeter & is home to the 1st New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival ! See some noteworthy examples of African-Americans' contributions: http://bet.us/BHM
Small but interesting park named after one of the greatest trumpet player of all times
Nice spot away from the crazy quarter. Grab a latte and hang with Louis
A lovely park with food vendors and trinkets deserves a Becherovka or two! Stick around for the Thursday Jazz in the Park concerts .
Beautiful park ! Definitely take the time to walk through the entire thing.
It’s a nice park but feels artificial. Not your typical nature filled park to relax in
This place needs a lot of work. It’s almost eerie in a sense. Fun place to hangout if you are a teenager.
Great Park , nice and beautiful. Close to the French quarter too

So amazing. Great for a dog walk or a picnic .
Great park for a leisurely stroll.
There is a walking tour via the National Park Service that starts here. You can listen on your phone and it is worth doing so.

Nice statues went on a Sunday so didn’t see any exhibits
You can get a nice pick in front of Louis Armstrong statue .
