The parliamentary guards are amazing to watch.

Awesome building, old pallace and now the parliament building. Have photo with sentries in front of the building. Watching them is cool.. Not as good as Anitkabir, Ankara for sure..

The Hellenic Parliament Building was originally built as a royal palace . In front of the building is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier , which is guarded by the famous Evzones.

The neoclassical three-floor building designed by Friedrich von Gärtner and completed in 1843. Initially a place, on November 1929 the government decided that it would house the Parliament.

After suffering fire damage in 1909, the building was functioning as a makeshift hospital , a museum until 1929, when the Government decided that the building would permanently house Parliament.

First x/kings palace . Nowadays an aquarium . Thus Greeks have the memory of a goldfish as politics concerned...
