Well kept park free of cars, lots of shade and walking space, in the western part you can see lits of waterbirds.

It's a lot more quiet than Sukhothai Historical Park . Make sure to rent a bike as cars are not allowed, while the park is large

The ancient town , formerly called “ Muang Chailang, “ was named “ Sri Satchanalai “ during the reign of Phra Ruang Dynasty when new administrative center was established to replace Chaliang.

Spend additional time to enjoy and explore the historical site .
