玄武湖位于江苏南京，六朝前称桑泊，曾是中国最大的皇家园林湖泊，当代仅存的江南皇家园林。玄武湖公园是江南最大的市内公园。值得一提的是，在面积上玄武湖和杭州西湖差不多，但是无论是名气、人文价值还是后来的管理，玄武湖远远逊色于杭州西湖。 民国元年辟为公园，民国初年，玄武湖一度改名五洲公园。

春天绕湖散步应该跟舒服，现在免费了，可以直接进入。可以从火车站对面 直接进入，然后开始绕湖走走，周围就是明城墙。

7.5km的游览路线，供参考。

就在火车站对面 ，湖水还好，景观一般，以前是明朝放户口本的地方。

晚上围湖锻炼的人很多。
