This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion . The food is delicious with spot-on combinations of flavours, the wine recommended by staff was amazing. Very busy, so better book in advance.
Great beef Wellington and sides of beetroot and Brussels sprouts recommended! And the tartare !Fantastic winter warmers cocktails : we loved winds of winter and tiramisu eggnog & Oh! mulled white wine !
Amazing dinner - and this is coming from a New Yorker. Fresh oysters , best lamb I've ever had, and the most interesting chocolate dessert EVER. Looked weird but tasted amazing.
Seared beef appetizer was out of this world! It's a very "LA/NYC" style of place. I loved it, but there have been complaints if you're not used to the portion size and style of dining.
Venison carpaccio is so good! The meat almost has a creamy texture. A perfectly balanced dish!
Best meal we had in NZ. Try the Southland Cheese Roll (better than profiteroles imo). Steak was also excellent.
Incredible creative dinner from one of NZ's top chef 's. The clams were life changing.
Fantastic taste! Marlborough king salmon was cooked just right. Mushroom & venison pie is good too. Try the goat cheese & honey entree. Great meal!
Goat cheese profiteroles are good but tiny - as if made for ants ! If onion soup is on the menu get it because it's stellar. Presentation and ambiance make this place special.
Everything is delicious, you can go wrong. A must visit if you are in Queenstown.
Smoked salmon was out of this world! Loved the seafood dishes here and the citrus lava cake for dessert was really interesting
Best restaurant in Queenstown for new and fresh dishes . Some serious talent here
Goat cheese profiteroles with honey and Rosemary mmm
Huge fan of this restaurant !!! For me a once year traveler to Queenstown this a great discovery!!!
The beef wellington here is the best one I have ever had.
Skip the seafood . Everything else pretty good though especially the lamb .
The lamb was so tasty it was worth the effort to cut it.
Bluff oysters , lamb main dish and goats milk cheesecake !
Cheese roll for lunch (starter) was amazing.
the pork belly , ducks tongue and john dory with pigs tail was out of this world
Sit at the bar . Bartenders are full of good conversation and tips
Do not order the crispy ox tongue . Overcooked nugget like beef tongue served on mayo you get in Mcd fillet o fish seriously
Awesome pork belly , good service .
Goat cheese profiteroles . Pork belly . Blackberry cremeaux.
Lamb shoulder excelente
Really bad experience, the hostess discriminated you, if you don’t looks formal , I tried after tour day, they just not gave me a table, even ask to leave the please, such as dick please!!
bread is the best literally
Hard to fault the food or service.
The Pork Belly Sticks are amazing! Soft, juicy, tasty ... - Jens Schöneberg
Acclaimed in many a cuisine magazine Wai (meaning water in Maori) is known for its gourmet seafood but also serve venison rack, wild pork, twice cooked duck and the finest New Zealand lamb - Anantara Vacation Club
Ice cream is delicious - don't skip the upstairs lounge too, amazing view and quieter than downstairs. - Carla
Very good freshly baked cookies served with (optional) milk. The white chocolate cranberry is very good, the fudge brownie one was too fudge-y. Go in evening during happy hours and get 2 for 1 - N N
