One of the oldest most classic hotels in the downtown area, probably one of the best kept secret since it's nestled in closer to the Oaklawn area. Such a great staff to go along with it
The Warwick Melrose has occupied its stately brick building in the Oak Lawn area since 1924, long before any of the neighborhood hot spots like S4 and J.R.’s were even a dream. Read more
Beautiful, well appointed, rooms. My double was huge and quiet (some street noise), but not a peep from the hallway/other rooms, even on a busy Saturday night . Friendly staff , overall great stay!
Great spot for work related drinks. Older folks always there and the menu needs some work. But great service and location. Awesome after work spot.
Library Bar is great for a quiet conversation. The drink prices are expensive but they are well poured and service is superb.
Get here early to hear the live music on Saturday nights . It gets really packed. The food is actually really good, particularly the flat bread pizza .
The library bar is a cool spot for a laid back cocktail .
Everything about this hotel was amazing! Very high-end
Plan on catching happy hour at the library are eating dinner at The Landmark Restaurant while you are here.
While in the Library , order what's not on the Library 's Menu: The Lamb from the Landmark Restaurant Menu or try their Toasted Croissant Sandwich with Fries from the Room Service Menu.
Great hotel in the gayborhood! Wonderful front desk service and fantastic restaurant , Landmark !
Sunday brunch , 8/22/10. Great venue. Awesome food. Abysmal service, like the B Team at an airport Ramada Inn but not as classy or competent. Idiotic waiter ruined the experience..
Library Bar oozes sophisticated glamour, making it a popular choice for post-work drinks or pre-party cocktails with friends.
Go on a Saturday night and listen to Aubree-Anna sing. Now I know why she was voted "Best Lounge Singer " in Dallas by D Magazine in 2009.
Step back into time at this piano lounge , and start sipping the popular Winning Mark, whiskey with Crème de Cassis and Chambord .
The rooms have ceiling fans in them.
Best place to stay in Dallas. Hands down.
Nice hotel right in the thick of the gay neighborhood . Nice rooms and friendly staff here.
Great hotel . Amazing service. Beats the corporate giants hands-down
Aubree Anna is fine cabaret dinger - beautiful voice and persona.
Corner rooms are the best
Nice hotel try to stay on the sifted over looking Office Max as it is quitter.

This beautiful hotel reminds me of something I'd see in movie . And has GREAT people watching !
The corner rooms are spacious and have partial canopies
Take a walk on the side streets and go ride trolley. It's really neat.
Come on Tuesdays and listen to Trish sing. She is soulfull and amazing.
Tuna tartar is AWESOME!
Wouldn't recommend Friday nights. Music is a bit on the loud side IMO. Particularly the trumpet. He doesn't need a mic.
takes a lot to peeve me but genuinely the worst hotel service. can't even get water. Room service is "closed except for cold sandwiches " and waiting for mini bar key for 3 hrs now just for water!!!
Disappointing stay over my wedding wknd. Promised rollaway bed for bridesmaids, never delivered, ran out. Had to sleep on floor. No pictures b/c they wanted to charge paying guests for a "photoshoot".
I can hear the people next to me sneeze!!! I can hear them get out of bed. I can hear their toilet flush. This is miserable. I'd rather rent a car and sleep in it!!!!
right downtown, we stayed there on our wedding night, got a great price for a small suite. LOVED it, great rooftop, cool art, Charlie Palmer's was greatness... - Jennifer Spera
Close to downtown. Cute little modern hotel for a good price. Rooms are spacious and clean and decorated well. Would come back again! - Arianna Rojo
In the Fall and Winter our Saturday Afternoon Tea is a popular excursion. Don’t forget to ask about our Royalty Tea, which includes champagne and a specialty dessert. - The Ritz-Carlton
Dark cozy atmosphere! Great entertainment! Drinks and food are pricey though. - Tammy Brown
Great music and a fun place to dance. Friendly staff. - Brett R
