Perfect local beach ! (You need a permit to park but there is some 2 hour parking up the hill ). Soft sand , crisp water & clean restrooms nearby.
Drop your beach gear off by the lifeguard stand and go park . Everybody does it. This way you don't have to lug it all.
Parking in the lot is only for those with permits . Park up the street in front of YHI for 2 hour parking our beyond the Reading Room for 2+ hour parking .
