The Tuolumne Meadows campground is one of the funnest spots in the Sierra (in these bears ' opinion). Book months in advance, or be prepared to be at the reservations desk bright and early.
Drive to Dog Lake parking lot trailhead. Away from the crowds and nice hikes along the river .
