Also try the garlic rice . It's not on the menu but it's amazing. Also recommend deep fried squid tentacles , tempura udon and the egg custard is heavenly. So is their Miso soup .

Love the fact that it's so homely, and the sushi and sashimi is yummm! Wish they would have the lunch menu for dinner , as the variety is bigger.

Good and authentic sushi for reasonable prices. Although the atmosphere is very Japanese the waitresses are Sri Lankan and you can talk in Sinhala with them.

yakiniku (meat) with sticky rice , thempura (prawns ), chicken karage , sushi and sashimi are good dishes here

All the food is of good quality. Other than the tempura . Ok prices, but the best option is steam boat in nawala.

Their crumb fried items are heavy on the crumbs. Double check if sushi and pork items are available before you walk in, to avoid disappointment half way through ordering!

Has authentic atmosphere. The food is average. The staff speaks Sinhalese! Katsudon rice is good. Prices reasonable.

Interesting atmosphere. Feels quaint and Japanese (except for the waitresses ). Food OK. Sashimi not as fresh as it should be. Miso was the highlight. Slow and inconsistent in service.

Big menu, but half the items were not available. Sushi rolls were sub par: poor ingredients and made hastily. Over priced for that quality.
