The museum is to track trends and developments that characterize textile and develop community living in Malaysia since the pre-history to the present. Visitors can visit the gallery that displays a collection of four leading textiles, accessories and clothing.

free admission . museum consists of four galleries . small but cozy spaces . ten minutes walk from masjid jamek lrt station. camera is allowed as long as there's no flash. good place for learning.
It's a free museum , which we always like. If you're really into textiles and understanding Malaysia's cultural influence on textile design, it's a must do. For all others, it's a quick stop. ;)

..'was not aware till now that this buildin' is actually a museum of textiles..i'd believe if you'd asked k.l peeps most of 'em were not aware this place does exist'..
