The biggest crowd ever here came in 2008’s “Civil War Game” against Oregon. The match-up originated in 1954, with odd-numbered games in the Ducks ’ stadium and even-numbered ones at Reser.
It had been 41 years since Oregon State knocked off a No. 1 team. In 2008, that streak ended when the Beavers hosted the USC Trojans and won 27-21.
