When you order Char Koay Teow make sure you get the right one because there's TWO! The good one is the one facing the main road . Ask before taking because the other one is sneaky in pushing their CKT.
Apom is very good. Stall has been operating for 80 years and is now managed by different generation, but still awesome.
If the hokkien mee is closed, don't miss the apom made using clay pot over charcoal fire. Definitely worth a try and eat while hot.
You’re not going to miss the superb hokkienmee a.k.a prawn mee . The thick and salivating soup is the bomb!
Definitely try the sweet apam in the morning and apam in the evening. Love the apam choices in the evening which includes eggs in your apam.
Pancake is popular like crepe ! 5 for 6 ringgit. Char kway teow v gd (7 R). Kway teow tng gd also. Closed on Sunday and friday. Unsure why
Apom for breakie , do call uncle Ravi one day before to order and be punctual to collect it else he would have give away your order to someone else
best economy rice here, best dish, beef rendang !!dried prawns ,achar, ikan bilis ,all highlighted dishes that mostly customers ordered to hong kong,us,taiwan..it is a must to try!!!!=)
Better to prebook the apam manis to avoid disappointment. I was lucky and managed to persuade the uncle to sell us 2pc despite all already prebook by outsiders. Open at 6am, stall close at 9.40am
Koay teow and assam laksa is good. Wan tan mee 's noodles taste great with the mushroom sauce and the wan tan is peppery which I like. The char siew was not too great
Penang Hokkien mee (prawn noodles ): Nominated by locals as 1 of best on d island . Thick, orange , spicy prawn broth. Slurp up d whole bowl!
Curry noodle gone by 9am. Apom is good too
wantan mee moved next door (Wantan Mee House). This is a lesson for y'all: don't argue with one of ur golden geese when ur coffee/tea tastes weak&bad. We no longer need to be subjected to ur bad drinks
I amused that the uncle uses bare hand to hold the hot clay pot to cook the appam
You can try their new Hong Kong style Wan Tan Mee . Not bad!
Apom manis is indeed very nice. Hokkien Mee was great before but now it seems to have dropped its standard.
Best hokkien mee I've ever had so far.
hokkien mee sold out at 9am in the morning... dont try to order the large wan tan mee unless u din eat for few days, the portion is really big.
Honestly, I come only for the apoms. Haven't try the hokkien mee though. Is it good enough to queue?
Roadside Char koay kak is good and not oily. Can deliver into kopitiam. MYR5 per plate, enough for two sharing.
Best apom I've tasted in Penang! 30mins for it was worth the wait.
Curry mee is excellent
Mee goreng biasa is quite unique here. Its not the charred type.
Came here at 8.30am and the hokkien mee was all sold out. Suggest that you come before 8am so you won't be disappointed.
They have Thai laksa (similar to Assam laksa ) here that was featured in Makan Unlimited.
Best mee goreng ever, probably in whole of Malaysia but only when then owner fries it~
Serves one of the best Sabah Pan Mee in town . Must try!
Best Apom! Be quick, as it usually finish selling by 9am!
1 of Best hokkien Mee , must come before 9am after 530am
great selection of food stalls . Penang prawn mee and Apom are the standouts... drinks are mediocre, toast and eggs aren’t bad.

Hokkein Mee. Remember to be early. Sell off around 9am.
Nice mee goreng and laksa here
Famous for wantanmee. Their sauce is different from normal soy sauce , it is made from those "Yee Mee glutinous" type. Coffee was ok, nothing special. Mee goreng by the Indian uncle was good.
Mee goreng super nice...better than the other one opposite....
Fried Indian mee is good 👍
