Loads of great real ales .
If you like real Ale there are some fine choices. Gold Tankard is one of my favourites and it makes for a good session beer . Also a good place to watch the rugby .
Good selection of Wylam beers/ales.
Always a good selection of ales . Food is good too, when it's available.

Still a great little traditional pub with great staff and friendly atmosphere .
Not exactly welcoming if happen to be tattooed , bit quick to judge a book by its cover. Toilets are improved, though - no longer smell like a sewer.

The starters are delicious I've tried the chicken wings and the shrimps tacos and for main course ribeye steak with mushroom sauce or paper sauce that was one of my best I've tried - Mansour Alrasheed
