You can’t beat a free drive-thru wildlife park . Buffalo, elk and all the usual Missouri wildlife . A great hike on the White Buffalo Trail .

Unexpected stop on the way to stl. Had no idea there was a park with elk . We found this while looking dor a picnic stop. Really cool

We go here often have held 3 birthday parties here. Have never had an issue here with the animals. However 2 yrs ago we did see a pregnant woman knocked down while walking between several of them.

I’ve never gotten closer to a wild Elk or to a bison than I did in this park . It’s absolutely stunning.

No domestic animals in vehicles

I love lone elk ! But really don't try and feed the geese because they will attack!!

Go shortly before sunset -- 5 p.m.-ish right now -- for cooperative animals.

Don't let the name fool you, there's more than one elk here ;)
