Top two items: Stuffed tomato (crab wrapped in ahi tuna topped with scallops ) and the Havana pearl (cucumber wrapped sashimi roll)
This place was surprisingly very good! When you walk in you see laser lights and hear pop music playing and you wonder if it's going to be good. But it did not disappoint!
Eventhough the rolls are great. You cannot see your food in the evenings. The only light comes from the lasers shooting from who knows where. I felt like i was at a club eating sushi
Tried the fried avocado crab , cream cheese sushi . Bomb. I don't like fish so this was a great tasting alternative.
New location is amazing! Make sure you sit in front of Kenny at the bar !
The Eel here is amazing and the sauce that goes over it is the best. Never had a dry piece of fish .
At times it was difficult to have a conversation because the music was loud (not sure what they usually play, but they played EDM while I was there). Laser lights at a sushi spot was a first for me.
If you get the Spicy Seafood Udon , bring a bib. And some wet naps. Good sushi though.
Salmon skin salad , scallop hand roll ! Great portions at a reasonable price.
Happy Hour everyday 3-6pm
Try the Fresh Strawberry Lemonade ! It is really delicious :)
Sushi was runny. I don't recommend the garlic albacore or the salmon/mango/ahi roll. This place has a pretty cool atmosphere but the rolls I tried weren't impressive.
Salmon nigiri is quite fresh
Try the Dynamite , one of my FAVs!!
Vegas Roll is da bomb!
if you want to have a conversation and not get laser lights in your eyes this is not the place to go. Loud music loud people and laser light on constantly. Sushi was just ok. Won't go back.
Go somewhere else for sushi . Didn't taste right and presentations sloppy.
What's good here?.... EVERYTHING!! Best sushi I've had since I was in Hermosa Beach. Definitely my new favorite spot here in SD. - Marcus Saxton
My go to 7-11. I love their bags of 99 cent chips. In my opinion 7-11 brand is tastier than name brand. Salt and Vinegar, Salt and Pepper. - Annie Downing
They have a great selection of yogurts compared to other places and definitely more toppings. Very friendly staff too! - Richard Fox
