Without a doubt, this is one of the best museums in the U.K. a very large and well maintained collection tells the tale of WW1, WW2 and beyond. The air show is a real thriller.

A great day out £17 each but worth every penny. Every aircraft you can think of and tanks. A piece of the twin towers and the Berlin wall..great day for kids young and old

Good attraction for kids and adults. It's perhaps 10th time we were visiting the IWM Duxford and its always something new to see. Also they are building a new playground !

Lots of walking for young children-saw a family with scooters today. Brilliant idea! Also food is poor so bring a picnic-there's an M&S at a nearby garage (Sawston) with a good sandwich etc selection.

Personally I think this is the best military museum I've visited in Britain; there is so much to do & see here, with friendly & helpful staff , and excellent facilities. Not to be missed!

Excellent place to visit, make sure you get there early and can spend the whole day there. It is a huge site.

Fantastic displays covers the whole of aviation from invention to modern day.

If you visit in a week prior to airshows you can watch the practice flights. Sometimes better than the show! But the shows are worth a visit also. One of the best collections in the World.

Great new exhibits to see even when no air show on (you may be lucky to catch some though). Food and drink a bit expensive though.

Good day out with the family. Long walk to see the tanks but worth it. Restaurant was shut for refurb - which was a bit of a disappointment.

Expensive, but with it for a day out. All children under 16 are free which is good for families !

Brilliant place to visit great information for kids

Home to the only member of the Blackbird family outside the United States . SR-71A, serial number 61-7962, set a flight altitude record of 85,069 feet in July 1976.

Where there is a show, arrive before 9:30 to avoid the queues. Also go to the car before the show is officially over, to avoid loosing another 1-2 hours due to the traffic.

Never get tired of Duxford. Well presented, great staff and exhibits , added bonus of seeing a Spitfire practice!

The American hangar is amazing. Loved the land warfare area.

Use the park and ride. No hassle getting in or out. Brilliant day well worth the money.

Go to the American hanger first and work your way back to avoid the crowds.

Each exhibition hall takes up 20 to 40 mins. Allow a day to visit the whole museum

A museum in the air. Be prepared for a lot of walking.

The best place to see old warbirds fly...airshows here are not to be missed especially if you like B-17 Flying Fortresses, Spitfires , Hurricanes and Lancasters

It's a trek to the American hangar , but well worth it to see the B-52 and other classic US warbirds .

There is one problem i have found the food and drink here is way over price, i would bring your own when possible.

Land Warfare Hall and hanger 3 will close 31 October. They will open for half terms and christmas . Check the website

Winter hours start Sunday the 24 Oct. The museum will be open from 10am-4pm.
