Astonishing aqueduct, striding towards the monastery , was build bw 1593-1613 to supply water to thirsty monks. 180 arches, best seen just off Leiria Rd, 2.3km from town . You can climb on top.

Notável obra de engenharia. Não fiz o percurso todo do aqueduto mas nota-se alguma deteoriração.

Beautiful cathedral and cloister to visit! You can walk through it within an hour but 2 hours is nice to enjoy everything. And maybe add in the audiotour. - Stephanie Ip
Quite of a surprise in such a small town, great castle, it reminded me of the Alhambra in Spain, totally worth it for only 6 euros. - EDR
