Great view 's over the Trent and plenty to explore although I would strongly recommend the museum located the other side of Newark Church as a starting point to your visit to Newark.
Not very much to see (castle is mostly ruined ) but it was huge and beautiful and is very impressive, worth visiting. Quiet garden area inside, tower/dungeon tours .
