We were very happy with our experience with the elephants. We ride for about an hour in the field , cross the river , etc. Everything was perfectly supervised by the guides .
I rode once and will never do it again. Be sure to ask your tour guides whether the elephants' welfare is well taken care of. I appreciated our handler who was kind and gentle with his elephant.
