You can hardly find a more authentic Middle East atmosphere than here. Excellent food is hidden everywhere, also in the nearby streets. Two signs: many locals and everything only in Hebrew.
A must visit! This shook has it all - Halva , Turkish Delight , Fresh Pita , Borekas , spices - you name it, it's there. Take your time and wander the stalls taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells.
If you are a market lover consider this as a must visit in Tel Aviv. Packed with locals who buy fresh fruits and vegetables . Find the the well hidden restaurants and the Burek maker near the entrance!
Definetly crowded and takes time to learn how to get around, but by far my favorite place in Tel Aviv. Go there before sunset , grab a few Le'chamim cheese sticks and some tomatoes and make a picnic
Visit Dr. Halva , candies and sweets, Beer Bazaar, you can also find in the market squeezed juices , Baklava , Jerusalem bagel , Rogalach, nuts , spices and more. (watch out as it can get very crowded )
What’s good? Well if you enjoy the smell off spices and don’t mind the gorgeous smell of different foods than this is for you, big time. You must visit the king of halva just wonderful. Just go enjoy
The Best Suk/Market in Tel Aviv. You can find here anything from Cheap Clothes , Fresh produce & Meat & Flowers . Also, many nice eateries all around. Plus Great Arts & Crafts Fest on Nahalat Binyamin.
This is the main food market in Tel Aviv . Take a wander down here for fresh fruit and veg , freshly baked bread ... and there's even a beautiful flower stall right in the middle of all the commotion!
Wonderful but crowded market serving as the food spot for Tel Aviv. Fresh produce and a lot of funny replicas/parodies of famous brands
Love this place. Such chaos - loads of great looking fruit , veg , spices and nuts etc. lots of tourists but also normal Israelis doing their shopping. Well worth a visit
At the end of the day it's just a market , but the food is really good. Especially the burika/boureka in the southern part of the market . They also have sugar-sprinkled doughnuts .
Try the pasta shop just before the entrance at the right corner. A lot of selections and cheapest pasta you can find in TLV. Great tasting too.
The 7 shekel falafel they sold in one of the stands here when I visited was the best (and cheapest) falafel in Tel Aviv. You cant miss it, they announce the price at the top of their lungs. :)
Great street market , take your time and browse the stalls. Don't forget to try some halva
Authentic market in Tel Aviv . Unfortunately, city majority has plans to transform it into a standard market area. This will be a loss for the city .
I like to live near the market , it is nice to buy fresh fruits and vegs for smaller price than in a supermarket .
There's a great open air cafe in the middle serving great coffee and a selection of fresh dishes . Sit for a while and soak up the hustle and bustle of Tel Aviv life around you.
Everything looked so unbelievably fresh. Very friendly people. Loved the olive displays.
Friday and Tuesday are "street carnaval" in the parallel street. Singers hand made goods and nice atmosphere! Friday is bigger :)
Great place to buy local food! try it! bargain! less people in the morning and its more pleasant to walk.
There is a sandwich/grill station inside the shuk with a red and white awning. The guys that work there are super friendly and it is delicious. ~Marissa, Tel Aviv University
Most popular market in Tel Aviv . You'll find everything from fruit and vegetable to clothes and souvenirs. Not to be missed.
Great for a stroll through. The best place to pick up your souvenirs - vendors always up for a haggle. And some great street food !
They are cheap and ready to negotiate with you. Make sure you watch out for pickpockets.
everything about the shul is perfect, zaatar bread about midway thru is a dream, the tunisian boreka in the pita was ridiculously incredibly amazing.
One of those "must visit" when you're in Tel Aviv ???? ???? ????
High pace, loud market full of energy. So much to get and try out!worth checking it out
Noisy and crowdy. Lots of good places to eat/drink and feel the “vibes” of the city .
Great fresh produce and other products. But beware if you're a foreigner, because they will rip you off and more often than not will not want to bargain with you
Very cool. A must visit while in the Tel Aviv area.
Medium out doors market with low quality textile and glasses. Nightmare on Fridays. Check out the small places around it. A lot of cheap and good fast food choices.
Fantastic place to walk around but gets very busy
Don't leave without trying the Burekas at 'Turkey Original' - a small bakery on the western end of the market . Apparently they're some of the best in town !
Local produce and tourist trinkets !
Fun to check out - lots of energy and smells of fresh goodness
Everything what you need to try while you are in TLV
The best place to get all of your fresh produce in Tel Aviv. Make sure to check out the magnificent flowers as well !
So much to see and eat and buy!!
Burika , Burika , Burika . Try the full deal in a pita . Some of the best street food in the city .
a nice place to spend your time at or to do some shopping. fruits are really cheaper here
Crowded but a must see! Try the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and the falafel !
The burika stand was our favorite stop - don't leave without trying one.
Deals everywhere! Lots of fun! Something for everyone. The artists area has lots of Israeli treasures.
Don't come near here on Fridays, stick to side streets or if you must, use the crossways between the booths and the stores.
Get anything here from fresh produce to shoes
Be careful of pickpockets, keep your phones and money close to your body. Specially on friday.
Have falafel in the center intersection , at Elad's, with a lot of hot sauces , red and green.
