The place looks much nicer from the inside than you'd tell from the outside. We've tried the spicy rice noodles and a curry and were very happy with our choices.
The som tum is a killer! It's delicious but too damn spicy . I was sweating after a few bites. Be sure your tongue is prepared! if you are a true Thai this may be mild for you! Hahaha
So. My guy and I were in the city trying to dig up the glorious hidden jems buried within the grand central station of all tourism (aka. Chicago as a collective). And stumbled upon this. Def. worth it
The som tum (papaya salad ) is perfect and the beers are cold. Noodles were a little bland and it’s all kinda pricey . Sadly, not many Thai food options in the area, so this will get you your fix.
Food tastes not bad, my Thai friend told me it's quite authentic ! Curry chicken is good and kinda spicy . Great portion btw.
I always get the musseman curry . So good. I also really love the condiments on the table that let you customize your dish.
The. BEST. Crab Rangoon in the city !
For 30 yrs I've been coming here. I love that it hasn't changed - my favorite dishes remain on the menu. Unreservedly recommend.
Great food for reasonable prices. The Mossamon Curry is best I've ever had. And to drink, you can't do much better than the Pomegranate-Lychee Martini , with a big ol' lychee at the bottom. Delicioso!
You will never be disappointed! All dishes are large enough to share and so yummy! Fresh and wonderful
Very good place and the price is very decent. Nice stuff and nice deco. I loved the red curry
Chicken (both in curry and in noodles ) was dry and tough. Curry and noodles need more salt. Good fish cakes and squid salad . So far, I'd say go with the seafood and avoid the pedestrian Thai dishes.
Tom yam soup and crab Rangoons were awesome. The fish was a bit too hot for me, but other people liked it.
Curry fried rice is excellent. Plum wine is good, but only 1 glass will do. Chicken satay is also excellent. Can't beat this restaurant
Delish chicken with spicy soy sauce , basil , tomatoes and green pepper
The Pad See Eiw is amazing! Cheap and fast, some of the best athai I've ever had ! I'll be back!
I could drink the peanut sauce , it's soooo good! Also very strong and reasonably priced drinks. Highly recommend!
Borderline-unbelievable value. Delicious, straightforward menu in awesome location. Great vibes.
I go here too much. They know me by name. Best downtown Thai place for the price/portions!
Had Tom yum soup and basil sautéed shrimps . Flavours were there but sadly no time spent on cooking. Done too fast, without care, and it shows. The shrimps were barely cooked and the veggies almost raw.
Had the larb gai, dumplings and fish cake . All very good and large portions
The Massaman Curry is amazing!
Good portions at a reasonable price. Add extra chicken to entrees for only ~$1 more!
Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had! Not too sweet, with a very cheesy flavor.
Great Pad Thai ! You have to be over them to be seated, their seating system is useless...
gyozas , green curry , beef salad , rice , spring rolls
Curry was great, but a bit more hot-spicy than I'm used too. Great service too!
Good prices + fast & somewhat healthy in the area. I had the surf/turf glasnoodles. They were alright.
Love the chicken curry . Tod Mun Pla appetizer (fish cakes )are delish.
Nice food at a good price but be aware of the lipsticks on the glasses they serve with tap water !!!
Solid pad kee mao ; interesting decor & seating
Everything was excellent!
First time here and loved it. Such a hem next to all the over-priced places in the area.
You must try the deep fried red snapper ! Delicious! ????
Cool setting and great Thai food . They also have Beerlao.
By far my favorite Thai food in Chicago
The best place in town for Thai - been a patron for 20+ years!
If you're looking for inexpensive yet authentic Thai food , this is your place
The naem sod is the best. Ask for a side of rice , the hot and cool mouth feel is great.
Solid Thai, great pricing for the neighborhood
Good for lunch , nice prices, good menu selection. Not too heavy.
Try the Tom Yum - With Kaniiiiii (via @Foodspotting)
The pad see ewe is some of the best In the city . Get it with beef .
Try the Fish Cake - Enak bangwtetttttt (via @Foodspotting)
Amazing Miso soup , Crazy Noodles with the green chilies , and Pom-Lychee Martini !

I loved the pad thai! I got it with shrimp and loved how quick and friendly everyone was. So good! - Hannah Alkadi
Food is always good, hip decor & good electronic music in the background. I just had the ramen for lunch, with the ramen fad in the area this is a great value at $12.95, and of course super tasty! - Michelle Munvez
The bar and also the speciality drink that they have seasonal are also good - Cassandra Dixon
The only place I buy my Toms from! Good prices & a huge selection. - Lady Starkie
New and used books. Downstairs has a cool cozy space while browsing. - Eddy Gonzalez
