One question we are often asked is weather or not we were ever a part of the “Sambo’s” national chain; the answer is no. Our name Lil Sambos (originally Lil Black Sambos) is borrowed from the hero of a fictional story about an Indian boy, tigers, and pancakes written by Helen Bannerman in 1899.

I has the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and my friend had the corn beef and hash with French toast . It was all very delicious and the service was wonderful!
We had corned beef hash and chicken fried steak also. Taste great and friendly waitress .
Yeah the name is pretty racist, and they try to justify it on the menu. No horrible black caricature imagery to be found though, just a goofy tiger mascot. Nice breakfast options .
Watch the lettuce on the salad bar , it may not be rinsed out.
The French toast with strawberries is pretty tasty. So is the corned beef hash .
Service is slow, milkshakes are good, and food is mediocre. This place has a gift shop in the middle so how good could it really be?
Dirty silverware and water glasses. Server didn't appear to really care. Second time that this has happened with a 2 year time gap. Apparently nothing changes :( food was just okay
Thick bacon ... Yummy goodness.
this place sucks! dont not eat here.. cold food! but the milk shakes are awesome!
