The jazz music , the writings on the wall, the food (especially desserts ) and the whole experience of Checkpoint Charlie make it distinctive from other restaurants in the city .

A great place to have dinner with friends. Food is great and the atmosphere is cozy . It reminds you of the old jazz clubs in the 80s. Totally recommend it!

The foods are delicious and the starter portions are really big. I suggest ovened beans and polenta gor starter. Actually we found the decoration a bit absurd. Must try!

The lunch menu is great. From the main starters kebabcheta and the parsley meat balls are more than worth trying. The service is always perfect. They take cards.

The atmosphere is amazing, old building , lots or art and jazz music . Staff is friendly and the food, pricy but excellent. The duck with spinach , and trout with lemon sauce is recommended.

Great Place, great atmosphere, large portions , and decent prices. Around 27 euros pp incl of wine and desserts which i guess is high for BU. Bookings are necessary for Fri/Sat nights.

Cool, quirky place. Great both inside and in their lovely garden . Food is good, with an extensive menu (typically Bulgarian stuff) and a good wine list to boot!

The prices are high, but the quality of the food is wort it. Jazz music and old atmosphere is wonderful. Especially the duck and trout is recommended to try!

Still one of the best restaurants in Sofia . Try the banitza and order early it takes 20-30 min.

It's a hit or miss, duck dishes are perfect. Lamb meatballs and hot starters are good. Salads definitely need improvement. The quality of cheeses can be better.
