The Es Baluard contemporary art museum is housed in a revamped 16th-century fortress that formed part of the town walls (0034 971 908200; esbaluard.org; open until 8pm; entrance €6/£4.80).

Exhibitions were a bit underwhelming when we visited but the space is cool and has potential for sure. I’d give it another shot and still recommend a stop.

Impressive mixture of centuries
Allow 3 hours for a long lunch , not cos service slow but cos atmosphere and views on terrace are so relaxing.

Museum für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst an der Stadtmauer. Mit angeschlossenem Cafe und Blick über den Hafen . Besuchenswert.
Architektur , Exponate und Blick rechtfertigen schon jeweils für sich den Besuch!

La entrada cuesta 6€ pero los viernes es "gratuito" (solo cuesta la voluntad, desde 10 cents). Tienen WiFi gratis en todo el entorno del museo .

No us podeu perdre el Museu d'Art contemporani de palma. Els divendres el preu és la voluntat a partir de 0'10€. La resta de dies és de 6€. Bar/Restaurant amb terrassa.

Big parc just off the OldTown, big, very kids- and family- friendly. Nice for a break after walking around. Good spot for weekends. - Murat
Went at lunch. Not busy at all! Very nice terrace. Great selection of memorabilia to look at. It's a small Hard Rock but there's plenty of outdoor seating. Amazing food, wonderful staff & great music! - A. B.
