The outer restaurant , called the Kempu, is nicer for snacks (butter roast dosa , puttu kadala ) when open in the afternoon. The inner restaurant serves some of the best Kerala style meals for lunch .
The freshness and cleanliness are the highlights here, if you checkin at the evenin pls note that the inner restaurant which supplies different dishes compared to the outer opens up only after 7:00pm.
A good place for vegetarians especially for dosas . Place for a coffee and chat basically morning dishes
The south indian meals are the best..!! North indian food can be missed though..!!
Best Kerala veg meals . Must try if you are visiting Cochin.
You would be a fool to come to this place and not have the Kerala Sadya.
Best food at Cochin
Must try the Pazham Pori.
Try their Traditional Kerala Veg Meals !
I am afraid to eat.. coz one day I ordered puttu with kadala curry .. inside putt, there were small pieces of glass !! I complained,no use.
Very unhygienic.. Full of flies and all.. For the price we are paying, it's a never go restaurant..
Veg feast. Very nice.
Try onion rava uthappam
Really don't know why they charge Rs.100 for Kerala 'VEG' meals at the inner restaurant !! :/
Rava dosa...puttu kadala
The service is changed to selfservice ! :-(..too bad

The mutton biriyani (available only till 1pm for lunch) and chicken biriyani are to die for. Tried their Prawn roast recently. Well done Kayees. You make my tummy smile :) - Surej Salim

This is the most beautiful place during the evenings in Kochi. The bridge overlooks the backwaters and the setting sun is a beauty to watch from here. - Broad Bean
