Go to the market place near the roundabout. Look for TAHAI, a fish cracker coated with sugar and chilli pepper . It's Lawas' local product . Highly recommended!!!!

A lonely backwater town , Lawas is infamous for its reckless drivers, atypical nightlife and the food wanting. The shops closes early and the people are mostly traditionalist.

Dont forget to check out TAMU BESAR (the big flea market ).. from vegetables , cooked food even cloth bundles!!

Simple town with easy access to Sabah. =)
