The Adler of course, but the steam locomotive 05-001 from 1935 with a speed record of 200.4 km/h in Fahrzeughalle 2 is my personal favorite.

Fantastic collection of locomotives and old carriages. Explanatory information (in 2021) 80% German-language only though booklets with English language translations are available in the shop.
One for the train nerds rather than those with a general interest. Signage is in German with very few English translations - which is fair enough but lower your expectations if you don’t speak German.

Geschichte und Technik auf sehr interessante Weise verbunden. Faszinierend detaillierte Modelle. Man sollte einige Zeit mitbringen, es lohnt sich !
Die Entwicklung der Eisenbahn in Deutschland von 1835 bis 1990 erleben. Chronologisch sortiert gibt es dennoch immer wieder neues zu entdecken, viel Zeit mitbringen!

Die oberste Etage ist für Kinder angelegt. Hier können sie auf einer Bahn quer durch den Raum fahren und lauter verschiedene Spielstationen abarbeiten und erfahren.
Kleinkind Bereich ist super für Kinder. Züge gucken ist natürlich auch spannend, vor allen für kleine Zug-Fans
Mooie collectie modeltreinen, oude spoor-items, stoomtreinen etc.
Toll für Kinder ist der große Spielraum in der 3. Etage .
Für Bahn-Fans toll. Mit Lokomotivführern war der Besuch besonders spannend.
