Dont buy anything at the ground floor as its super trap for turists with high prices. Get to first floor where locals go and shop! A lot of tasting here, super yummie!

The mercado has all the fruits , vegetables , and meats you might need to make any dish. Watch for the aggressive sales people at the booths ; they want you to taste everything.

Beautiful Market , fresh local fruits and you can taste anything you like. Bring some cash with you, it is quite expensive . Fish is spectacular as well .

Bit of a tourist trap on the lower floor, did get to try a nice verity of fruits and bought some - over priced but paying for the experience. Fruit was tasty though!

If you want veggies , there's a stall upstairs where you'll see locals doing the shopping. The rest looms like a tourist trap . The bakery downstairs is not bad.

We bought a lot of passion fruits and it were EMPTY inside. F* sellers and this place. Worst spent 70 euros in my life. So... just be careful. Because sellers were nice ????????‍♂️

This Is just a tourist trap ,dont go.We paid 50€ for 6 pieces od maracuja. The taste there is perfect,because they put sugar in. Our purchase was not half good as the tester!

Фрукты хорошо покупать на втором этаже , в центре, где торгуют женщины в фартуках. Цены там ниже, чем в магазинах. Дают чеки и упаковывают все в пакеты .

Свежие фрукты и овощи за адекватные цены . Единственное место на Мадейре, где есть назойливые продавцы . :)

Очень дорогое место. Те же Товары в супермаркетах и на лотках в 4 раза дешевле . Ориентировано на туристов . Нас обманули - дают пробовать сладкое и сочное, а в пакет кладут кислятину
